We announce the death of Joann C. (Matrone) Croffut of Liverpool, New York, who passed away on October 4, 2026. Joann will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Matrone and Anna Matrone (Deluca); her husband Ronald A. Croffut; and her son Michael Croffut. She is survived by: her daughters, Cynthia Croffut, Colleen Heinrich (Steven) and Annette Saule (Peter); her grandchildren, Daniel, Jason, Kristen and Paige; her great grandchildren, Jayson, Julie, Hannah, Logan, Gracie, Derek, Erin, Emily, Aurora and Rhys; and her siblings, Samuel Matrone, Linda Sorbello, Patricia LaPoint and Anita Parks. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Thomas J. Pirro Jr. Funeral Home (3401 Vickery Rd, Syracuse, NY 13212). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
