She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Sheppard and Dorothy Sheppard (Clark); and her husband Richard Capone. She is survived by: her sons, Michael Capone (Michelle Carnicelli) and James Capone (Tracy); her grandchildren, Nina Stevens (Alex), Dominic, Marissa, Stella, Vivian and Lola Capone; her great grandchild Rodney James Earl Stevens; and her brother David Sheppard. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Pettigrass Funeral Home (196 Genesee St, Auburn, NY 13021). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Church (15 Clark St, Auburn, NY 13021).
