He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Michael Costa and Bernice Shanahan Costa; and his sisters, Cathy Schaeburg and Patricia Normanly. He is survived by: his wife Anne Costa; his grandchildren, Mia Rose Heitzenrater and John Anthony Heitzenrater; his siblings, Ellen Hardy (David) of Syracuse, NY, Lou Costa (Shari) of Illinois, John Costa of California and Mark Costa of Illinois; and his brother-in-law Chuck Normanly. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
