It is with sadness that the passing of Michael Hogan of Liverpool, New York is shared. Michael, born on June 17, 1966, passed away on October 21, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. Hogan and Joanne Hogan Dettor; his stepfather Richard Dettor; and his brother Timothy Hogan. He is survived by: his wife Claire; his sons, Michael "Mickey" (Jessica) and Matthew (Delia Fraietta); his sister Kelley Familo (Joe); and his stepbrother Rick Dettor (Sue). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Edward J. Ryan & Son Funeral Home (3180 Bellevue Ave, Syracuse, NY 13219). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Patrick's Church (216 N Lowell Ave, Syracuse, NY 13204). An entombment will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at the Woodlawn Cemetery (800 Grant Blvd, Syracuse, NY 13203).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Golisano Children's Hospital or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
