He was predeceased by : his parents, William Stanley and Anna Jane Rees (Clapsaddle); and his sister Alice A. Rees.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Maurer Funeral Home, Inc. (300 2nd St, Liverpool, NY 13088). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, 210 Hazel Street, Liverpool NY 13088.
