He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Stanley Ptaszek and Bernice Ptaszek (Yustick); his wife Viriginia (Ginger) Ptaszek (Wolniak); his brothers, Ronald (Sandy) of Michigan and Wrenie (Ken) of Florida; his children, Mark (Trina), Scott, Wendy and Debbie; and his grandchildren, Jessica, Joshua and Jonathan.

Visitation was held on Saturday, May 18th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Hollis Funeral Home (1105 W Genesee St, Syracuse, NY 13204). A reception was held on Saturday, May 18th 2024 at 2:45 PM at the Syracuse Polish Home (915 Park Ave, Syracuse, NY 13204).
