David John Kurtz Sr. Obituary
We announce the death of David John Kurtz Sr. of Livonia, New York, who passed away on September 11, 2026, at the age of 76. David will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Norbert Kurtz and Edna Kurtz (Brehm); his former wife Linda Kurtz (Whitford); and his brother Robert "Bobby" Kurtz. He is survived by: his wife Regina Collins; his children, Matthew Kurtz, Maureen Ferguson (Michael), Amy Manna (Jon) and David J. Kurtz Jr.; his sister Diana Ellison (Jim); and his nephews, Brian VanDerPool, Wayne VanDerPool (Brooke) and Greg VanDerPool (April). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, many brothers and sisters-in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home Inc. (21 Big Tree St, Livonia, NY 14487). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home (21 Big Tree St, Livonia, NY 14487).
