He is survived by: his children, Clementine L. Knowles, Bertie Knowles Jr. (Karen), Ralph Knowles (Crystal), Marie Baker (Guy), Phyllis Robinson (Dalvan) and Frank Knowles (Katrina); and his grandchildren, Aleta McDowell (Clifford), Sandra Powell (Alex), Tearsea Knowles, Bertie N. Knowles III, Nina Knowles, Mario Grant (Amber), Demetrius Grant, Carlton Harris Jr., Yania Franks, Franseca Knowles and Aaron Knowles. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
