He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Davis and Lucy Davis; and his siblings, Wanda Johnson and Edmund Davis. He is survived by: his children, Essence and Matthew Davis (Ashley); his grandchildren, Adam, Kamryn and Tyson; his siblings, Leslie, Gregory, Rodney, Mark, Douglas Davis, Laura Johnson, Patricia Lewis, Roxanne Davis and Diane Williams (Brad); and his sister-in-law Cindy Davis.
