He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis P. Shanley and Mary Catherine Healey Shanley; his wife Wilma Shanley (Aures); and his sisters, Marjorie Heck (John), Mary Louise Blackley (late Carl), Nancy Albanese (late Dominic) and Carolyn Garofalo (late Mauro).
He is survived by: his daughters, Julie Van Bourgondien (James) and Margaret Mary Collins (Kevin); and his sisters, Patricia Joensen (late John) and Jane Coakley (late Ray). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
