He was predeceased by: his parents, Sade Boyer (Conway) and Donald C. Boyer; and his sister Judith Rushing of State College, PA.. He is survived by: his girlfriend Sue Siemendorf; his children, Thomas Boyer (Gail) of Hamburg and Laurie Jentsch (Mark) of Orchard Park; his grandchildren, Christopher Boyer, Faith Drew (Nick), Kaylee Brady (Marshall), Michael Boyer (Kelley) and Meghan Boyer; and his great grandchildren, Summer, Jesse Drew and Josiah Brady.
