We are sad to announce that, on October 12, 2023, at the age of 85, Edward Getty (Lockport, New York), born in Indiana, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Getty and MaryEllen Getty. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Hefferon Getty; his daughters, Diane Snickles (Daniel Heim), Debra Prelewicz (Rob) and Dawn Winkelmann (Tim); and his siblings, Robert Getty (late Kay) and Barbara Jean Walter (Mike). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pendleton Center United Methodist Church or Niagara Hospice.
