He was predeceased by: his wife Jane Sherman (Butz); his son Mike Sherman; and his stepson David Folmar. He is survived by: his children, Scott Sherman, Denise Folmar (Ron), Joe Folmar (Mona), Doug Cater (Bobby), Wendy Beauman, Cindy Ricks (Dale) and Tim Cater. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
