She was predeceased by: her parents, Elwin Newman and Margaret Newman (O'Grady); her siblings, Beatrice White, Jean Filipovich, Carl Newman and Martha Roth; and her in-laws, Marilyn Parm and Douglas Haak Sr..
She is survived by: her husband Gary E. Haak; her children, David E. Haak (Kimberly) and Susan E. McKee (Matthew Sr); her grandchildren, Matthew Jr., Jessica, Adam, Cameron, Kaitlynn, Emily and Matthew; her sisters, Esther Walker (late Phillip) and Margaret "Molly" Manson (Donald); and her in-laws, Sharon Mathews and Ronald Haak (Anne). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
