She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank J. France and Ida Henshaw France; her husband George C. Scranton Jr.; her son David Scranton (Kathleen); and her brothers, Richard France (late Jeanne), Lawrence France (late Sophie) and Charles France (Dianne).
She is survived by: her children, Christine Sullivan (Francis), Nancy Militello (Peter) and Douglas Scranton (Nancy). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
