Though James may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy James leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Dunch and Mildred Dunch; and his sister-in-law Marilyn Behm (late Jack). He is survived by: his wife Karen L. Dunch; his daughters, Joy Dunch and Andrea Dunch (James); his grandson Lucas Blaser; his siblings, Beth Dunch, Thomas E. Dunch (Lydia) and David A. Dunch (Renee); and his sisters-in-law, Kathleen M. Hill (Wayne) and Roberta L. Harper. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home (242 Genesee St, Lockport, NY 14094). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 28th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
