He is survived by: his parents, Donald Smith and Martha Smith Niethe (Webster); his wife Michelle Smith (Christie); his pet Lily; his siblings, Keith Smith (Vicki), Lori Smith Christie and Douglas Smith (Darla); and his parents-in-law, Gloria Christie (late David), Julie Austin (David) and Scott Christie. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
