Murphy and Katherine Murphy; his wife Gayle Murphy (Nichols); his daughters, Caryn Harris (Shaun), Maureen Murphy and Lisa Serra (Carlos); his grandchildren, Elizabeth Hight (Steven), Emily Harris and Selah Harris; and his brother William Murphy (Mary Jane). He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
