Joyce E. Thilkey Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joyce E. Thilkey (Lockport, New York), who passed away on July 31, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Norwood Mellenthien and Ruth Mellenthien (Proefrock); her husband Russell Thilkey; and her daughter Rebecca Thilkey. She is survived by: her children, Deborah Hite (John), Frank Thilkey (Lisa), Brenda Jordan (Glenn) and Wayne Thilkey (Robin); her grandchildren, Bliss, Joelle, Blake and Ashley; and her siblings, Richard Mellenthien (late Kay), Norma (late James) and Charles Mellenthien (Melanie). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and at 10:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Prudden & Kandt Funera Home, Inc. (242 Genesee St, Lockport, NY 14094).
