He is survived by: his wife Bernice; his children, Jessica and Shakonwaretsi Silversmith (Kahontiiosta); his grandchildren, Ethan Upton, Devan Haseley and Teiakoianakhen Silversmith; his pet Kathy Laforme; and his stepsiblings, Andrew Smith (Donna) and Catharine "Cathy" Jarka.
