She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Schaffert and Helen Schaffert (McCabe); and her siblings, Blanche "Deed" McArthur, Joseph Schaffert, Frank "Bud" Schaffert, Kathryn "Sis" Adams, John "Jack" Schaffert and Helen "Honey" Doyle.
She is survived by: her husband Charlie; her children, Dr. James Shaw (Julia) of Lockport, William Shaw (Susan) of Lockport and Mary Martin (John) of Olcott; and her grandchildren, Katie McWilliams, Sarah Shaw, Luke Shaw, Eilise Murphy, Ally Martin, Andrew Martin, Bridget Martin, Hannah Hosey and Sarah Sharp.
