Nancy R. Mattiuzzo Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nancy R. Mattiuzzo of Lockport, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 22, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Covell and Ruth Covell (Foster); her husband Louis Mattiuzzo; and her brother Robert Covell. She is survived by: her children, Rev. Thomas Mattiuzzo (Rhonda) of Flint, MI, Judy DeLuca (David), David Mattiuzzo (Laurie) of Lockport, Jeffrey Mattiuzzo (Linda) of Brooksville, FL and Molly Colton (Mark) of Lockport; her brothers, Charles Covell (June) of Newfane, Jack Covell (Carol) of Lockport and Dennis Covell (Kathy) of Newfane; and her sister-in-law Carol Brockman Sr. (Gary) of Lockport. She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, thirty seven great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, Inc. (242 Genesee St, Lockport, NY 14094). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be designated to The Storehouse food ministry of Every Nation Assembly of God Church in Flint, MI.
