It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy Schmitt of Lockport, New York, who passed away on March 29, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter MacEvoy and Mary Isabella Zimmerman MacEvoy; and her sibling Jean Lute (Milton). She is survived by: her children, Kathleen McIntosh (Richard), Daniel Schmitt (Lillian), Emily Atwater (Norman), Thomas Schmitt (Lisa), David Schmitt (Theresa) and Nathan Schmitt (Crystal); and her siblings, Lila Fogel (Robert), Walter MacEvoy (Geraldine) and Annette Swan (Harold Jr.). She is also survived by 27 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations to Ridgewood Bible Church or Yates Baptist Church 11365 E. Yates Rd Lyndonville, NY 14098.
