It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peter L. Granite of Lockport, New York, who passed away on June 4, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Peter L. Granite to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his mother Lena Granite (Donatelli); his daughter Sue Ann Bax; and his sisters, Delores Cassidy (late Bob) and Gertrude Horton (late Willard 'Bill'). He is survived by: his father Louis Granite; his wife Donna M. Granite (Conklin); his children, Gary Granite and Rena McCune (John); his grandchildren, Maria Schultz (John), Jennifer Bax, Melissa Bax (Jeff Bray), Alfred Bax, Matthew McCune, Sabrina LaNasa (Jonathan) and Sara McCune; and his great grandchildren, Andrew and Carmin Elizabeth. He is also survived by several nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the M. J. Couccci & Son Niagara Funeral Chapel (2730 Military Rd, Niagara Falls, NY 14304). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at the Riverdale Cemetery (5605 Old Lewiston Rd, Lewiston, NY 14092).
