He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Allen McCarty and Alice McCarty (Hoover); his wife Joan McCarty (Hoyer); his former wife Marian J. McCarty (Detrie); his children, Ronald McCarty (Nancy), Brian McCarty (Deborah), Kathlene McCarty, Wanda Lederhouse (Gerard) and Jason McCarty (Paula); his stepchildren, Debbie Wasieczko, Tracy Monte and J. R. Allen; and his siblings, Marie McCarty Shiffler, Franklin McCarty (Mary), Clifford McCarty, Clyde, Edgar, Julia and Dorothy. He was also cherished by 21 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to Niagara Hospice with grateful appreciation for what they do.
