He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Miller and Irene Miller; and his brothers, Douglas and David. He is survived by: his children, Jeremy (Lynn), Joshua, Jody (Ben), Stan (Laura), Joseph (Jena), Nicholas and Brian; and his sisters, Shirley Hetherly and Patricia Jones (Morgan). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
