He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Swendsen and Viola Swendsen; his son Michael Swendsen; and his siblings, Harriet Swendsen, Clifford Swendsen (Charlotte), Melvin Swendsen, Dorothy Moreland (James), Mae Andes (Charlie), Alfred, Clara and Vera Swendsen.
He is survived by: his wife Agnes "Ann" (Summers); his children, Nancy Richards (Ed), Robert Swendsen Jr., Roxanne Stevens (Michael) and Sheryl Silva; and his siblings, Lester "Pete" Swendsen (Beatrice), Rose Ness (John), Joan Felvus (James), Arlene Heisner and Adelaide Butler (Glenn). He is also survived by Twenty Grandchildren, Thirty eight Great Grandchildren (with 3 on the way), and 2 Great Great Grandchildren.
