He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard E. Truax and Sylvia Truax (Schendel); and his sister June Burngasser. He is survived by: his wife Margaret (Federspiel); his children, Sara Marleau (Rik), Kyle Truax (Caroline) and Selena Morello (Chuck); his grandchildren, Krysta, Jake (Lindsay), Anna, Grace, Angelo and Bode; his great grandchild Alex; and his sisters, Barbara Yates and Audrey Truax.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lange Funeral Home, Inc. (186 East Ave, Lockport, NY 14094). A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First English Lutheran Church (185 Locust St, Lockport, NY 14094).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lockport Lions Club or the Niagara History Center.
