He is survived by: his stepmother Janet Bruning; his wife Andrea "Bunny" Bruning; his children, Russell Bruning Jr. (Amy), Mark Bruning (Candace) and Wendy Stymus (Chris); his grandchildren, Mark Bruning Jr., Nicholas Bruning (Olivia), Larry Bruning (Renee), Parker Bruning, Katie Burgett (Jeremy), Megan Smith (Austin), Austin Stymus, Aaron Stymus and Bentley Harris; and his siblings, Mary Alice Sullivan, Edward Bruning (Simone), Michele Spencer (Brian), Tim Bruning (Laura), Jeff Bruning (Denise) and Laura Bruning (Tom). He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
