She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilson G. Barnes and Marguerite E. Barnes (Hoffman); her former husband Bill; and her siblings, Wilson Barnes, Jr. (Virginia), Robert Barnes (Frieda), Emerson Barnes (Donna) and Jane VanBuren (Kenneth).
She is survived by: her husband John Roy, Sr.; her children, Jill Waz, Sr. (Douglas), John Roy, Jr. (Barbara) and Melissa Folckemer (Timothy Berbach); and her grandchildren, Douglas Waz, Jr., Cassandra Waz, Cedar Waz, John Roy III (Colleen), Michael Roy (Emily), James Roy (Patrick), William Folckemer (Kelly), Erick Folckemer (Yumi) and Elizabeth Folckemer. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
