With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Shirley M. Hazel of Lockport, New York, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Morin and Diana Morin (Fleury); and her brothers, Ronald and Richard Morin. She is survived by: her husband Lawrence Hazel; her children, Diane, Donald C. Weiss (Tracy), Deborah W. Benkovich, Diana L. Stegich (Erich) and Christopher J. Hazel (Hope); her grandchildren, Lauren, Hannah, Zachary, Abby, Rachel, Clark, Chris, Erica, Jeff, Josh and Olivia; and her sisters, Muriel Rua, Florine Linkous, Betty Ann Peters and Cindy Godbout. She is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren, her many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Otto Redanz Funeral Home (2215 Military Rd, Niagara Falls, NY 14304). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Otto Redanz Funeral Home and Niagara County Cremation Care (2215 Military Rd, Niagara Falls, NY 14304). A burial will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 at the Niagara Falls Memorial Park Cemetery (5871 Military Rd, Lewiston, NY 14092).
In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to Niagara Hospice.
