Shirley Prue Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shirley Prue (Lockport, New York), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 26, 2025 at the age of 99. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Shirley Prue to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar and Helen Tudor, Sr. (Corbett); her husband Norman J. Prue; her son Michael J. Prue; and her siblings, Edgar Tudor, Jr. (Shirley) and Lorraine Class (Harold).
She is survived by: her children, Lucinda A. Racsumberger (John) and Jeffrey J. Prue (Carrie); her daughter-in-law Ann Marie Prue; her grandchildren, Alicia, Stephanie, James, Elaine, Aaron, Alexander and Katelyn; and her great grandchildren, Lilly, Nicholas, Emily, Jocelyn, Alfred, Amelia, Asher and Jonas. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, Inc. (242 Genesee St, Lockport, NY 14094). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. John the Baptist RC Church (168 Chestnut St, Lockport, NY 14094).
In lieu of flowers the family would greatly appreciate donations to Heritage Manor, 41 Lexington Ct., Lockport, or Sister Helen's Food Pantry.
