He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Stephen J. II and Priscilla Callen II (Nesbit); his children, Sabastyen Blake Callen, Terrie Lee Luxon, Hunter Seth Callen, Dakota MacDonald, Dallas Cheville Callen, Saxton Blaise Gillis, Leelynd Gaige Callen, Dustin Gillis and Joseph Gillis; his grandchildren, Christopher Lee Knights Jr., Persephone Callen and Joseph Michael Callen; his siblings, Jeffrey Jepson and Kimberly Beyer; and his uncle David MacDonald.
