Walter Eick Obituary
With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Walter Eick (Lockport, New York), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Walter left this world on March 11, 2025 at the age of 78, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Eick and Helen Eick (Bridgeman); and his in-laws, Don and Elsa Fink (Ciarfella). He is survived by: his family, Donna Eick (Fink), Mandy Sandolfini (Matt Reed), Greg Eick (Suzi) and Meghan Eick; his grandchildren, Jamie Sandolfini Jr., Brenton Sandolfini, Selenah Roman, Isaac Roman, Faith Eick and Jacquelyn Eick; his great grandchildren, Silas Roman and Aylah Townsend; and his sisters, Nancy Labbe (Noel), Barb Blais (René) and Donna LaHaye (Jeff). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Taylor and Reynolds Funeral Home (70 Niagara St, Lockport, NY 14094). A funeral service was held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations in his name be made to Save the Michaels, an organization dear to him, or the Upstate New York American Diabetes Association.
