With sadness, we share the passing of William R. DeCesare (Lockport, New York). William, born on January 31, 1942, passed away on July 11, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember William for his warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. While he will be deeply missed, the influence he had on the lives around him remains. Loved ones will reflect on the time spent together. William’s memory will live on in the hearts of friends and family, a lasting reminder of the connections and experiences he brought to the world.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Tullio DeCesare and Dorothy DeCesare (Sarchia) of Lockport; his wife Kathleen Newman (Newman); and his sister Anna Marie. He is survived by: his daughter Teresa Lynn (Jim Sipowicz); his grandchildren, Anthony Sipowicz (Matalin) and Madeline Rose; his brother-in-law Tim Paul; his brother Roy; his sister-in-law Joyce Laubacker (Newman); and his cousin Joe Cologgi (Arlene). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
