He was predeceased by: his brothers, John (Susan) and Daniel Martin (Christine); and his siblings-in-law, Lawrence Sams (Heather) and Sheila (Edmond). He is survived by: his spouse Honor Carroll Martin; his children, Meghan Rys (Richard) and Brendan Martin; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Bride Wideman (John) and Collum. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
