He was predeceased by: his parents, Wright F. Ellis and Mary Ellis (Hoover); and his sister Rosemary Marino (Richard). He is survived by: his wife Jeannine Ellis (Gookin); his children, Stefanie Wichhart (Ryan) and Andrew Ellis (Rachel); his grandchildren, Benjamin, Samuel, Sarah Wichhart and Rebekah Ellis; and his brothers, Charles Ellis (Sherie) and James Ellis (Lynn).

In lieu of flowers, memorials to Cambria Congregational Church or to Niagara Gospel Mission would be appreciated.
