It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of JoAnn Uzzo of Long Beach, New York, who passed away on October 15, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As JoAnn departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though JoAnn may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy JoAnn leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Tartaglia and Adeline Tartaglia; and her sisters, Louise Tartaglia and Angela Landi. She is survived by: her sisters, Joyce Coletti, Lorraine Broccoli and Diane Kapetanakis; her daughter Annette DeSimone; and her grandchildren, Bianca Kaltenbach and Ariana Kaltenbach.
A Mass was held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Ignatius Martyr R. C. Church (721 W Broadway, Long Beach, NY 11561).
