She is survived by: her children, Joy Hirschey, Thomas Leaf Jr., Jeremy Kampney, Matthew Potter and Emily Potter; her siblings, Virginia Fitzgerald, Randy Simmons, Kevin Simmons, Dennis Simmons and Andy Simmons; and her stepbrother John Steria. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren.
