He was predeceased by: his father Rev. Gilbert R. Steria; and his sister Glenda Steria. He is survived by: his siblings, Gabriella Steria of Lowville, Galen, Katie Steria of Auburn, Gretchen and Enos Yoder of Adams; and his mother Savilla R. Zehr Steria of Lowville. He is also survived by five nephews, two nieces and three grand nephews; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Naumburg Mennonite Church (5463 NY-410, Castorland, NY 13620). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at the Croghan Mennonite Cemetery.
