He was predeceased by: his wife Elsie Kidder; his daughter Diane M.; his children-in-law, Allan Toepfer of Pensacola, FL and Mary Ann Keefer; and his parents, Roy T. Keefer and Stephanie Borowiec Keefer.
He is survived by: his children, Daniel L. Keefer of Lowville, Robert D. Keefer of Watertown, Randy G. Keefer of Redwood, Penny S. (Matthew Cadwell), Kenneth M. (Susanna Keefer) and Lisa A. (Peter Leubner); and his siblings, Dorothy McIntyre of Carthage, Elizabeth Card of Brewerton and James Keefer of El Dorado, AR.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren.
