He was predeceased by: his son Jon Widrick; his sister-in-law Janice Kampnich; his parents-in-law, Margaret and Francis Houppert; and his parents, Donald J. Kampnich and Ellen Gowing Kampnich.
He is survived by: his wife Wendy M. Houppert; his daughter Melanie; his children-in-law, Claude Bertrand of Fuquay Varina, NC, Morgan Whitlatch and Marc Lunn; his siblings, Roland (Delta Kampnich), Paul Kampnich of Croghan, Rebecca (Beryl Walseman) and Laurence (Sue Kampnich); his granddaughters, Allison (Jeremy Bulloch), Hailey Lunn and Carlee Lunn; and his great grandchildren, Logan, Annalee and Aspen Bulloch. He is also survived by aunt, and close nieces, nephews and cousins, and special nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Iseneker Funeral Home, Inc. (5702 Waters Rd, Lowville, NY 13367). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Stephen&rsquo!s Church.
