He was predeceased by: his siblings, Lee Ann Lewis, Wilbur Lewis Jr., Lucinda Lewis and Bryon Lewis; and his parents, Wilbur Lewis and Doris Dunn Lewis.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Adams; his sons, Merlin Lewis (Katrina Nilsson) of Tupper Lake and Michael Lewis Jr. of South Portland, ME; his grandchildren, Nicole, Tyler Nilsson, DeAnna Lewis, Austin and Abilene Lewis; his great grandchild Hayden Thomas Lewis; and his sister Loretta Larkin of Las Vegas, NV. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
