She was predeceased by : her brothers, George and Donald Dodd; and her husband Wilfred Ehmsen. She is survived by : her children, Daniel (Maura), Kathleen (Tom), Bill (Eileen Mary), Frederick Charles (Kath), Lisa and Dorothy Jean; her grandchildren, Kathleen, Jessica, Shannon, Brielle, Isabella and Ryan; her great grandchildren, Brady, Margaret, Jack, Cameran and Torri; and her pets, Kit Kat, Cupcake, Max, Charlee and Delilah.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Perry Funeral Home, Inc. (118 Union Ave, Lynbrook, NY 11563). A Mass was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 9:45 AM at the Our Lady of Peace RC Church (25 Fowler Ave, Lynbrook, NY 11563). A burial was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the St. Johns Cemetery (80-01 Metropolitan Ave, Flushing, NY 11379).
