We are sad to announce that on September 30, 2023, at the age of 101, James Knap of Lynbrook, New York, born in Boston, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Dorothy Harding Knap and Thomas Seymour Knap of Ogdensburg, NY.; his wife Betty Green Knap of Ogdensburg; and his sisters, Elizabeth Anne Knap, Susan Knap Manes and Jane Knap Gustafson.

He is survived by : his children, David Seymour Knap, Susan Knap Browning and Pattie Knap Rymer; his grandchildren, James Monosmith, Kimberly Browning and Allen Browning; and his great grandchildren, Penelope and Beckham.
