He was predeceased by: his wife Mimi Crowley (Nee Crowley); his parents, Jim Ryan and Irene Ryan; and his siblings, Jimmy (Eva), Patsy Jackson (Owen) and Irene Waltman (Harry).

He is survived by: his children, Tommy (Wendy), Eddie (Kathleen) and Kerry (Nomi); and his grandchildren, Tommy, Matt, James, Sean, Grace, Laith and Maaz.
