It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Alan M. Hadcock of Lyon Mountain, New York, born in Dannemora, New York, who passed away on July 13, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Alan may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Alan touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frances Hadcock and Elbert Hadcock. He is survived by: his sisters, Margaret Crowe, Sr. (Phil), Helen Hadcock and Elaine Taylor (Russ); his friend Charlie; and his caregivers, Sam and Bonnie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Joseph's Church (179 Smith St, Dannemora, NY 12929). A burial was held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the New St. Joseph's Cemetery.
