Smykla of Lyons Falls, New York, born in Port Leyden, New York, who passed away on December 9, 2022, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Wilfred James and Minnie Viola Taman (Bates); her husband Joseph A. Smykla; her daughter-in-law Marilee Smykla (Maryhugh); and her grandson Brandon M. Smykla.

She is survived by : her children, Adam J. Smykla (Michele), Kathleen A. Lavancha (Ronald) and Michael J. Smykla (Lisa); her grandson Anthony E. Smykla; and her sons, Brock A. Smykla and Shane R. Smykla.
