Gary Edwards Obituary

The passing of Gary Edwards of Lyons, New York occurred on October 13, 2026. Gary, born on February 20, 1955 in Newark, New York, is remembered by those who knew him. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Edwards and Iona Edwards; his siblings, Brian Edwards and Barbara Withy; and his wife Chris Edwards.

He is survived by: his daughter Shannon Edwards; his grandchildren, Kamal and Damara Nelson; his brother Gil Edwards; and his sisters-in-law, Lori Hance and Jan Edwards. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the VFW of Lyons (202 Geneva St, Lyons, NY 14489).
