He was predeceased by: his parents, William Gruber and Linda Gruber; and his grandparents, Gerald, Rena Stickles and Doris Blowers.
He is survived by: his sister Vicki Atkachonis (Mike); and his aunt Lonna Jesse (Fred Plimpton). He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 30th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Norman L Waterman Funeral Home (124 W Miller St, Newark, NY 14513). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 30th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Ronald McDonald House in care of the funeral home.
